The PokerStars Championship also gave away some nice prizes to Brazilian players last Sunday (18th edition). The biggest of them all was of course Rodrigo Seiji, who became a five-time winner of the $5,200 Titan event, but other grinders were also on hand to win big.

The next climax was at the hands of Matthews Camilo. PokerStars’ “MathCamillo1” won the hotly contested $55 Mini Bounty Builder HR event against 5,797 entries for $26,814. The coolest thing is that Gabriel Bueno “gabrielbdo23” won the Tag Team Championship, taking home the silver medal and $22,561 for second place.

This is not the only Brazilian doubles. In the $109 Sunday Fenomeno, history repeated itself: André Sá (“Andredos”) emerged victorious from a field of 1,069 entrants to take home $17,443 and become the tournament champion. Second place went to “the one and only” Bernardo Sette, “begines1,” who took home $12,434. It’s worth remembering that Bernardo Sette was the big winner of the KSOP GGPoker South America Main Event when he walked away with R$2,000,000.

Another star who left a five-figure bonus in his account is Gabriel Medeiros. On Sunday, PokerStars “Gremio CEM” defeated a total of 393 entrants to win the new StacKOsaurus tournament for $215. As a result, the average player leaves the game with $15,569 in winnings added to their balance.
